I'm sure many are wondering what this is all about. I wanted to create this blog to communicate what my thoughts are. You'll see on the Roots x Expressions instagram and youtube pages that there are multiple makeup therapy videos in which I do not speak. I have chosen to take this route to emphasize the fact that it is possible to articulate one's emotions and psychological state through more than just words.
I, particularly am one who struggles to verbally communicate my thoughts and complex emotions so I use makeup as one of the many forms of communicating what it is that I'm going through. You'll see me post tons of makeup therapy and makeup expressions videos in the coming days.
I hope to stay in communication on this website and hopefully we will see Roots x Expressions grow and expand together.
Remember, the greatest plants have the deepest roots.
